Little Book Chapter 10 'All The Wiser'

Little Book Chapter 10 'All The Wiser' Blended Straight Whiskey is the tenth release in the annual series created by 8th Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe at James B. Beam Distilling Co. Bottled uncut and unfiltered at cask strength, this release blends mature bourbons from across the portfolio with additional components finished in sherry casks and toasted bourbon casks. It marries signature beam oak and caramel with rich dried fruits, warm spice, and toasted wood undertones.

Food Pairing: Smoked beef brisket, dark chocolate tarts, pecan pie, aged sharp cheddar cheese, and grilled ribeye steak.

Tasting Notes : Rich golden amber in appearance, offering a full, mouth-coating, viscous, and warm cask-strength mouthfeel.

Nose : Toasted oak, dark caramel, dried figs, sweet molasses, vanilla bean, and light baking spices.

Palate : Rich and full-bodied with notes of sweet cooked agave and rich caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon spice, dark raisins, and subtle sherry sweetness.

Finish : Long, warm, and lingering with notes of dark fruits, toasted wood, warm cinnamon, and a pleasant oak structure.

Serve : Best enjoyed neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass, or with a few drops of water to open up the complex aromatics and tame the high proof.
