Produced at the Domaine de Chez Maillard in the Fins Bois region of Cognac, Leyrat Glory Extra is an ultra-premium single-estate expression representing the pinnacle of Domaine Leyrat’s inventory. Distilled exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes grown, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled on the estate grounds, this bottling contains exceptionally old eaux-de-vie, some dating back over 40 years. Maturation in French Limousin oak casks within the estate's dry cellars produces a spirit of remarkable depth and finesse, featuring rich notes of candied citrus peel, dried fruits, gingerbread, cigar box, and noble oak rancio.

Food Pairing: High-cocoa dark chocolate, rich foie gras, aged Comte cheese, dried figs, or enjoyed as an extraordinary digestif alongside a premium cigar.

Tasting Notes: Deep, brilliant mahogany with amber and dark copper highlights, displaying a rich, velvety viscosity and slow, coat-clinging legs on the glass.

Nose: Intensely complex and aromatic, opening with candied orange peel, dried apricot, and dark plum, followed by gingerbread, nutmeg, old leather, cedarwood, and pronounced oak rancio.
