Les Freres Engel Cremant d'Alsace Extra Brut Blanc combines equal parts Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris from Orschwiller. Hand-harvested grapes undergo one year of lees ageing before tirage, followed by eighteen months on laths. Fine bubbles accompany fresh apple, pear and white-fruit character.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with shellfish, grilled fish, soft cheese and pretzels.
