Exhibiting a deep red-purple hue in the glass, it opens with a highly aromatic and complex nose featuring notes of ripe blackcurrants, wild plums, and dark cherries, accented by elegant layers of violets, freshly ground coffee, sweet tobacco, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied red is remarkably plush, juicy, and focused, displaying an exceptional purity of fruit that counters the vintage's natural weight.
