Le Grappin Fleurie-Poncié du Grappin 2021 is an artisanal, whole-cluster fermented red wine produced by Andrew and Emma Nielsen in the high-elevation 'Poncié' lieu-dit of Fleurie. Sourced from vines grown on pink granite, quartz, and mica soils, this Gamay opens with expressive floral notes of dried iris and violet alongside red cherry, wild raspberry, and subtle cracked black pepper. On the palate, it is elegant, energetic, and lithe, featuring juicy red-fruit flavors balanced by crunchy acidity, silky tannins, and a clean, stone-mineral finish.
