The 2019 Le Carillon de l'Angélus is a sophisticated and beautifully textured Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. As the esteemed second wine of Château Angélus, it showcases a luxurious blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It opens with alluring aromas of crushed black cherries, ripe plums, and subtle hints of dark chocolate and graphite. On the palate, it delivers velvety, polished tannins, exceptional balance, and a remarkably long, elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Beautifully complements a classic roasted rack of lamb, filet mignon with truffle sauce, earthy mushroom risotto, or aged Gouda cheese.
