About the Lajach Cherry Berry Flavoured Tequila
Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested in the Lowlands of Jalisco (Los Valles). Slow-cooked in traditional stone brick ovens, extracted via screw mill, and fermented in stainless steel tanks before double-distillation in stainless steel pot stills with copper coils at La Cofradía (NOM 1137). This vibrant craft expression infuses unaged blanco tequila with natural cherry and mixed berry botanical flavorings, yielding a rich, ruby-hued spirit that blends sweet dark fruit and tart berry notes with smooth, crisp cooked agave.
Food Pairing: Fresh berry tarts, dark chocolate desserts, grilled pork carnitas, spicy barbecue ribs, goat cheese crostini, and fruit-infused ceviche.
Tasting Notes : Deep ruby red with brilliant clarity and a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel.
Nose : Ripe dark cherries, sweet wild raspberries, blackberries, sweet cooked agave, and a light touch of citrus zest.
Palate : Juicy and fruit-forward with sweet cherry juice, tart forest berries, crisp roasted agave, light herbal undertones, and a gentle pepper spice.
Finish : Refreshing, smooth, and sweet with a lingering fade of ripe red berry tartness and warm agave.
Serve : Serve chilled as a vibrant shot, over ice with club soda or tonic, or as a fruity base in berry Margaritas and festive punch cocktails.
