Lagavulin and celebrity Nick Offerman have partnered to launch Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Guinness Cask Finish, the second limited edition single malt Scotch whisky created collaboratively by Offerman and Lagavulin.
This new Lagavulin Offerman Edition carries an 11 year age statement and has been finished for four months in former Guinness Beer casks from the Open Gate Brewery in Maryland. Bottled at 46% ABV, Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Guinness Cask Finish is described as “a glorious adventure in sweet peat through the combination of the intense peat and charred wood notes of Lagavulin with the roasted coffee, dark chocolate and sweet caramel notes from the Guinness casks.”
