About the Lafazanis Winery Retsina 750ml
Lafazanis Retsina is a dry, white Greek wine with a combination of grape and resin flavors and aromas:
Taste: Citrus, yellow apple, herbal, resinous, and pine notes
Alcohol: 11.5%
Sugar: 0.0 g/l
Acids: 4.5 g/l
Packaging: Bottle with metal screw cap
Food pairing: Fish and seafood dishes, Finnish crayfish, clam dishes, and blinis
Serving temperature: 10–12°C
Retsina is made by adding natural resin from the Aleppo pine to white or rosé wine during fermentation. The resin is then removed, leaving only its aroma in the wine. Retsina is a mostly dry wine with a long history, dating back 3,500 years.
