La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2023 is a remarkably vibrant, expressive, and food-friendly cool-climate California white wine. Sourced from premium, fog-influenced family vineyards across the rugged Sonoma Coast AVA, this wine underwent 94% barrel fermentation in a mix of French (75%) and American (25%) oak (17% new) alongside routine lees stirring to develop exceptional texture. In the glass, it shows a brilliant straw-gold color. The highly aromatic nose opens with inviting notes of Meyer lemon, yellow plum, and white flowers, accented by subtle hints of sweet vanilla, toasted graham cracker, and delicate baking spice. On the palate, it is fleshy and beautifully concentrated, carrying flavors of crisp green apple, golden peach, and honeydew melon.
