A magnificent and iconic Southern Italian red wine crafted from old, 50-year-old bush vines (alberello) in the heart of Puglia. Primarily composed of Negroamaro with a small touch of Malvasia Nera, it showcases a deep ruby-red color with an elegant garnet rim. The nose delivers an opulent bouquet of blackberry jam, ripe blueberries, and dark plums, beautifully layered with tertiary notes of pipe tobacco, licorice, dark cocoa, and warm baking spices derived from 18 months of aging in French oak barriques. On the palate, it exhibits a full-bodied, velvety structure rich with supple tannins and a persistent, savory finish.
