Kyro Malt Rye Whisky

Kyrö Malt Rye is a Finnish rye whisky produced by Kyrö Distillery Company in Isokyrö, Finland. Made entirely from 100% malted whole-grain rye, it is double pot distilled and matured for at least three years in new American white oak casks, producing a bold combination of rye spice, sweetness and oak.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with smoked meats, rye bread, roasted pork, aged cheese, dark chocolate and caramel desserts.

Tasting Notes: Bold and spicy with sweet rye bread, honey, wild berries, caramel, vanilla and mocha.

Nose: Pepper, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit.

Palate: Sweet rye bread, honey and wild berries with warming rye spice.

Finish: Smooth and warming with lingering caramel and mocha.
