Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition is an extraordinarily rich, elegant, and complex multi-vintage Champagne composed of 195 wines from 12 different years, spanning from 1998 to 2014. Crafted around the 2014 base harvest and blended with 45% reserve wines, it spent around seven years aging in Krug's cellars. In the glass, it shows a pale golden hue with fine, persistent effervescence, opening with captivating aromas of toasted brioche, lemon curd, candied citrus, honeysuckle, and dried fruits. On the palate, it delivers a silken, generous texture layered with flavours of ripe yellow orchard fruits, grapefruit pith, marzipan, and warm spices, perfectly balanced by a chiseled backbone of vibrant, mouthwatering acidity and a long, chalky, saline-tinged finish.
