About the Kosta Browne Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2020
Kosta Browne Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2020 is an elegant, expressive California Pinot Noir crafted from select vineyard sites in Mendocino County's cool, coastal Anderson Valley, including the Cerise, Ferrington, Gowan Creek, Confluence, and Narrows vineyards. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels (38% new) and neutral oak casks, it showcases a brilliant ruby hue with complex aromas of dark cherry, cranberry, fresh blueberry, wild rose, and forest floor. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, expansive, and nicely layered, balancing vibrant acidity with ripe red and dark berry flavors, subtle baking spice notes, fine tannins, and a long, savory finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs brilliantly with duck breast, roasted pork tenderloin, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, and mild cheeses.
The 2020 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley has a nose of cranberries and blackberries with accents of burnt orange peel, forest floor and allspice. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh, with earth-laced fruits and a long finish laced with baking spices.
