Knappogue Castle 16 Year Old Twin Wood Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Knappogue Castle 16 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt matured initially in ex-Bourbon barrels and then finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. The Twin Wood maturation creates a rich, fruit-forward whisky with layers of malt, vanilla, dried fruit, nuttiness and oak.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with roasted pork, smoked meats, mature cheeses, toasted nuts, fruit cake and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and rounded with orchard fruit, dried fruit, malt, vanilla, toasted nuts, Sherry sweetness and warming oak spice.
