About the Klinker Brick Old Ghost Old Vine Zinfandel 2020
Crafted from old-vine Zinfandel vines in Lodi, this 2020 vintage showcases concentrated aromas of blackberry jam, black cherry, vanilla, baking spice, and black pepper with hints of mocha and toasted oak. Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, it delivers rich dark fruit flavors, smooth tannins, and a long, luxurious finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with barbecue ribs, smoked brisket, grilled sausages, or aged cheddar cheese.
Wine Enthusiast
A twinge of bitter oak tannin underlies this Zinfandel—absolutely well integrated and gives the a wine a particular point of view. Beyond the oak, find further engaging flavors of black plum, prune, cedar bark, fennel, dark chocolate and nutmeg spice. Allow to open for about an hour for best enjoyment.
