Sourced primarily from the benchlands of Monterey, Santa Barbara, and Sonoma counties, the grapes develop small, concentrated clusters due to persistent maritime influences and fog. The winemaking process involves keeping individual vineyard lots separate until the final blend, with the wine aging for 9.5 months in 98% French oak barrels (18% new) to integrate structure and aromatic depth. It delivers a classic aromatic profile of ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry intertwined with elegant earthy notes, cola, and mild spice.
