About the Kelley Fox Hyland Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019 1.5L Magnum
This is my final vintage of Hyland and it’s my favourite (and I love them all). The Hyland Coury Clone 2019 is medium, rich blue-red. It’s full of moving light and transparency. It has a pure nose of the reddest of red berries and cherries with a certain coolness and ocean salinity. It is complex with a velvety frame and nimble, age-worthy acidity typical of Hyland Vineyard. Fresh, full of life force and graceful power, the flavours are all about juicy red fruit and spices. The basalt/volcanic soil has a clear voice here. This very balanced Pinot has a fine frame with detailed structure. The finish is long with beautiful tension.
