Kavalan Solist Port Cask Truth Malters x KavaFAN is an exceptionally limited single-cask Taiwanese single malt selected in collaboration with Truth Malters and KavaFAN. Matured in a Port cask and bottled at natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV, this release was limited to only 180 bottles. Rich fruit and nut character combines with citrus, chocolate, elegant oak spice and concentrated Port-cask sweetness for a powerful yet balanced expression of Kavalan Solist.

Food Pairing: Pair with roasted duck, grilled beef, glazed pork, mature cheeses, toasted walnuts, dried fruit, berry desserts or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and concentrated with ripe fruit, nuts and citrus layered with chocolate, Port-driven sweetness and elegant wood spice.

Nose: Rich fruit and nut aromas are lifted by orange and citrus, followed by gentle American oak spice and concentrated sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied and fruit-forward with rich chocolate, ripe fruit and nutty character complemented by sweet oak and warming spice.

Finish: Long and persistent with lingering fruit, chocolate, oak spice and rich Port-cask character.
