The highly complex, kaleidoscopic nose opens with a dense mosaic of macerated wild berries, red fruit marmalade, and forest floor, seamlessly layered with sophisticated notes of pipe tobacco, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and dark chocolate. On the full-bodied palate, it offers an impression of enfolding richness and immense textural depth, masterfully balancing its concentrated core of spiced dark fruit with a precise vein of volcanic minerality and velvety, polished tannins that carry into an exceptionally long, warming finish with an appealing note of sweetness.
