About the Jura 1993 Rare Vintage 700ml
This limited edition, exceptional single malt promises full depth of flavour combined with the liveliness of our island character.
Distilled on 28th November 1993, the grassy new made spirit has been transformed by long maturation in small batch American white oak ex bourbon barrels, capturing subtle hints of coconut and vanilla over time. Followed by a 13-year finish in hand-selected French Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques, highlighting warm wood spices, vanilla and citrus, and enhanced by richer, classical berry notes.
Bottled at a higher strength of 49.2%, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, Jura Rare Vintage 1993 has been maturing for a total of 26 years, giving its flavours time to harmonise and grow over time.
