About the Jean-Luc Pasquet Le Cognac d'Annick L.92 1992 Cognac
Jean-Luc Pasquet Le Cognac d'Annick L.92 1992 Cognac is a limited Grande Champagne release from Maison Jean-Luc Pasquet's family-treasure selection, originating from the Tribot family estate in Criteuil-la-Magdeleine. Produced from Ugni Blanc and drawn from a single cask, this intensely expressive Cognac was bottled at 45.9% ABV. The dry-cellar maturation gives it notable concentration, revealing an aromatic combination of exotic and stone fruit, florals, honey, mature rancio and fine oak before a vibrant fruit-driven palate and exceptionally long finish.
Food Pairing: Aged Comté, foie gras, apricot tart, fig pastries, almond cake, dried fruit, roasted nuts, and mature hard cheeses.
Tasting Notes: Light amber with a concentrated yet vibrant character, balancing ripe and exotic fruits, floral aromas, honey, mature rancio and finely integrated wood.
Nose: Apricot, guava, ripe banana and mango layered with rose petals, acacia, wax, honey and mature rancio.
Palate: Fruit-driven and lively with peach jam, oriental pastry, fig and dried apricot.
Finish: Exceptionally long and persistent.
