A refined Riesling Auslese from Joh. Jos. Prum, sourced from the steep Bernkasteler Lay vineyard in the Mosel. White peach, mirabelle, citrus and floral notes are layered with cool slate minerality, vibrant acidity and elegant sweetness, creating a concentrated yet graceful wine with remarkable length.

What a fabulous range of floral aromas this has, stretching from the spring blossoms of Europe to the orchids of Central America, and behind this is a slew of white and yellow peach. Concentrated and very filigree on the palate, the finish so straight and delicate, with a character that reminds me of leaves and flowers dripping after a tropical storm.

Round and mouth-filling yet very fine and elegant on the palate, this is a weightless Auslese with savory, crystalline and precise acidity that carries this beautifully digestible Auslese to a fine and aromatic finish. 7% stated alcohol.
