Domaine Jean Tardy & Fils Nuits-Saint-Georges 'Au Bas de Combe' Vieilles Vignes 2020 is an exceptionally pure, elegant, and structured Pinot Noir produced by Guillaume Tardy. Sourced from old vines planted in 1937 and 1951 in the 'Au Bas de Combe' lieu-dit—situated on clay-limestone soils directly adjacent to Vosne-Romanée—this wine undergoes 100% de-stemming, cold maceration, and natural fermentation before aging for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a vibrant ruby hue with charming aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry, violet petals, earth, and delicate toasted spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, framing concentrated dark red fruit with silky, refined tannins and a long, energetic finish.
