Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2023 is a remarkably expressive, savory, and pure red wine crafted by the legendary Jean-Paul, Corinne, and Loïc Jamet. Sourced from estate vineyard plots located on the granite and schist plateau above Ampuis in the Northern Rhône, this 100% Syrah is vinified with partial whole-cluster fermentation using native yeasts and aged for 12 months in neutral oak casks. In the glass, it reveals a bright ruby-purple hue accompanied by vibrant aromas of dark cherries, wild raspberries, crushed black pepper, tapenade, and delicate violet florality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and energetic, balancing a juicy core of crunchy dark fruits with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, peppery finish.
