The rum is made from molasses at the Lluidas Vale Distillery and ferments for 2 to 3 days before being distilled in pot and column stills. It then matures for 5 years in bourbon barrels (200 l) in the country of origin. At MAISON FERRAND, the rum is given a special finish by being aged for 8 months in Ferrand Dry Curaçao barrels.
