Istine Chianti Classico 2020/2021

Istine Chianti Classico is a remarkably fresh, terroir-driven red wine produced from 100% organically farmed Sangiovese grapes grown in the elevated hills of Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. In the glass, it displays a vibrant ruby color. The bouquet opens with enticing aromas of tart red cherry, redcurrant, and wild strawberry, complemented by hints of violet, dried herbs, and a chalky mineral nuance. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and bright, featuring a core of crunchy red fruit balanced by high-toned acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins that lead into a crisp, savory, and clean finish.

Food Pairing: Tuscan ragù, roasted chicken, grilled pork chops, tomato-based pasta dishes, margherita pizza, and aged Pecorino cheese.
