Hugo Family Estate Reserve Shiraz 2016 is an intense, full-bodied Australian red sourced exclusively from the oldest dry-grown Shiraz vines on the family's McLaren Vale estate, originally planted in 1969. Yielding small berries with remarkable concentration, this exceptional vintage was matured in a careful selection of French and American oak hogsheads. It offers a lifted, highly aromatic bouquet of dark berry fruits layered with complex notes of black pepper, molasses, and vanilla.
