Hornito's Reposado Tequila 200ml

Crafted in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, at the historic Destilería La Perseverancia, Hornitos Reposado is a benchmark rested 100% Weber Blue Agave tequila produced by Casa Sauza since 1950. Harvested from mature estate agave, the piñas are cooked in steam autoclaves, shredded in roller mills, and double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The spirit is aged for at least two months in large 10,000-gallon American oak vats. This unique aging process minimizes heavy wood contact, allowing the bright, crisp cooked agave character to remain front and center while introducing subtle notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and gentle spice in a convenient 200ml flask format.

Food Pairing: Grilled chicken fajitas, roasted pork carnitas, fish tacos with spicy mayo, grilled steak quesadillas, guacamole with tortilla chips, or mild cheddar cheese.

Tasting Notes: Pale pale-gold straw in appearance with bright clarity, a smooth medium body, and delicate, coating tears.

Nose: Warm and approachable, opening with sweet cooked agave, subtle oak, and light vanilla bean, accompanied by herbal mint, zesty orange peel, and a hint of white pepper.

Palate: Smooth, balanced, and agave-forward on the palate, featuring sweet roasted agave nectar and soft butterscotch upfront before unfolding into layers of gentle oak spice, light black pepper, and subtle citrus zest.

Finish: Medium, clean, and smooth with lingering notes of sweet vanilla, soft oak spice, and a warm agave finish.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn or Riedel Tequila glass, over ice with a wedge of fresh lime, or as a smooth, versatile base for an elevated Reposado Margarita, Mexican Mule, or Paloma.
