Hornito's Plata Tequila 375ml

Crafted in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, at the historic Destilería La Perseverancia, Hornitos Plata is a classic unaged 100% Weber Blue Agave tequila produced by Casa Sauza. Harvested from mature estate agave, the piñas are cooked in steam autoclaves, shredded in roller mills, and double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. Bottled immediately after distillation to preserve its crisp purity, this unaged expression delivers a lively, agave-forward profile balanced by vibrant citrus notes, clean minerality, and gentle herbal undertones in a convenient 375ml flask format.

Food Pairing: Fresh fish tacos with lime, ceviche, grilled shrimp skewers, guacamole with tortilla chips, chicken fajitas, or pork carnitas.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with bright clarity, a medium body, and quick, clean legs.

Nose: Clean and crisp, opening with sweet cooked agave, zesty lime peel, and fresh green floral notes, supported by white pepper and a touch of wet stone minerality.

Palate: Vibrant and agave-driven on the palate, featuring bright citrus oils and sweet roasted agave upfront before unfolding into layers of cracked black pepper, light herbal tea, and subtle earthiness.

Finish: Medium-long, clean, and dry with lingering notes of crisp agave nectar, lime pith, and a pleasant peppery warmth.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn or Riedel Tequila glass, over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime, or as an accessible base for a Paloma, Tommy's Margarita, or Ranch Water.
