About the Highland Park Orcadian Vintage Series 1976 750ml
The same year Apple began its life in a dim, unairconditioned garage in California, this whisky started its life in a dark Orkney warehouse.
A combination of 13 butt and hogshead refill casks, hand-selected by our longest standing Whisky Maker, Max McFarlane for their outstanding character, yielded just 893 bottles. With an intriguingly light and fruity flavour profile, this vintage enlivens the senses with dashes of melon and smooths things over with a beautifully balanced pairing of sweet heather honey and aromatic peat smoke.
Each whisky in the Orcadian Vintage Series is presented in an exquisite wooden box which features marquetry inspired by the intricate wood carvings at the Urnes Stave Church in Norway and the Highland Park amulet, hand-crafted in silver.
