Hibiki 21 Year Old Japanese Whisky

Hibiki 21 Year Old is an internationally acclaimed blended Japanese whisky that represents the pinnacle of Suntory’s blending artistry. This expression is a meticulous marriage of numerous malt and grain whiskies, all aged for at least 21 years. The blend features a high proportion of rare malts from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, including those matured in Japanese Mizunara oak, alongside mellow grain whiskies from the Chita distillery.

On the nose, it offers a deeply complex and elegant bouquet of cooked fruit, blackberries, and ripe bananas, accented by subtle floral notes and a hint of sandalwood. The palate is full-bodied and exceptionally smooth, showcasing rich flavours of dried apricot, honeycomb, and dark chocolate, layered with a delicate, incense-like spice. The finish is remarkably long, deep, and refined, leaving a lingering impression of Mizunara wood, incense, and a soft, smoky cocoa.
