Oceanus Hibernicus Hibernicus Blended Malt Whiskey

Hibernicus is an unusual cross-border blended malt made entirely from malt whiskies sourced from Ireland and Scotland. The Scottish portion incorporates malts from the Highlands, Speyside, Lowlands and Islay, bringing together fruity sweetness, vanilla and gentle peat smoke.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with smoked salmon, grilled pork, roasted chicken, mature cheddar, roasted nuts, caramel desserts and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Soft and approachable with a balance of sweet malt, fruit, vanilla and restrained peat smoke.

Nose: Treacle, vanilla, sweet malt, light oak and fruit with floral notes and subtle smoke.

Palate: Citrus, mango, honey, vanilla, orchard and tropical fruits, caramel and a gentle layer of dry peat smoke.
