About the Hewitson Mother Vine Monopole Shiraz
A distinctive single-vineyard Barossa Shiraz with concentrated dark fruit, floral lift, pepper, spice and savoury complexity. Fine tannins frame the palate, while the wine's depth and structure reflect an ancient Shiraz clone propagated from a single 1853 vine and grown in iron-rich terra rossa soils.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with charcoal-grilled ribeye, rosemary lamb shoulder, braised beef cheeks, or venison.
