Herno Navy Strength Gin 500ml

Herno Navy Strength Gin is a bold Swedish gin made from the same distilled gin as Herno Dry Gin but bottled at a higher 57% ABV. Organic Swedish wheat spirit and selected botanicals create a concentrated profile with pronounced juniper, coriander and citrus. The higher strength delivers greater aromatic intensity and flavour while retaining the smooth, balanced character associated with Herno Gin.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked salmon, grilled prawns, oysters, charcuterie, aged cheese, or richly seasoned seafood.

Tasting Notes: Rich, powerful and aromatic with a sappy texture and concentrated botanical character. Crisp juniper leads the profile, followed by spicy citrus and fresh spring floral notes. Despite its Navy Strength bottling, the producer describes the texture as sippable, with controlled warmth and a smooth, lingering conclusion.

Nose: Bold juniper with fragrant citrus and fresh, peppery notes.

Palate: Sappy and flavourful with crisp juniper, spicy citrus, spring floral notes and gentle warmth.

Finish: Long and lingering, spicy and peppery with mellow warmth and a smooth conclusion.

Serve: Serve neat, in a Gin & Tonic, or in spirit-forward cocktails such as a Dry Martini or Martinez. Herno's own bar uses Navy Strength Gin in both cocktails.
