Herno Juniper Cask Gin 500ml

Herno Juniper Cask Gin is a distinctive Swedish gin made from the same distilled gin as Herno Dry Gin and matured for 30 days in juniper wood casks. Bottled at 47% ABV, the maturation intensifies its juniper character while adding fresh woodiness and depth. Organic Swedish wheat spirit forms the base, accompanied by botanicals including juniper, coriander, lemon peel, lingonberries, meadowsweet, black pepper, cassia and vanilla.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked salmon, grilled seafood, roasted pork, charcuterie, aged cheese, or herb-seasoned dishes.

Tasting Notes: Rich and expressive with a thick texture and gentle dryness. Juniper wood maturation amplifies the gin's green, pine-like character while citrus blossoms, herbal pepper, coriander and mild vanilla sweetness provide balance and complexity.

Nose: Fresh woodiness and juniper pine complemented by soft citrus blossom aromas.

Palate: Thick and gently dry, with abundant green juniper, herbal pepper and mild vanilla sweetness.

Finish: Long and lingering with aromatic citrus, floral coriander and sappy juniper character.

Serve: Enjoy neat or use in spirit-forward gin cocktails such as a Negroni; Herno specifically features Juniper Cask Gin in its Negroni recipe.
