This wine offers a complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, sweet spices, tobacco, mocha, and delicate floral notes. The palate is full and ripe, beginning with blackberry flavors that evolve into defined cassis and plum, finishing with sweet yet firm tannins. It pairs wonderfully with roast beef, veal, venison, and game birds such as duck, partridge, and pheasant, as well as cheeses like Lincolnshire Poacher, Red Leicester, and Cheshire.
