About the Henry of Pelham Bin 106 'Lost Boys Limited Edition' Baco Noir
Henry of Pelham Bin 106 'Lost Boys Limited Edition' Baco Noir is a rich, highly concentrated, and deeply expressive Canadian red wine produced from old vines planted in 1984 in the Niagara Peninsula. Sourced from a premier single-vineyard block and aged in a combination of spicy American oak barriques and large European oak foudres, this flagship bottling displays a dense, dark purple-ruby hue. On the nose, it offers complex aromatics of ripe blackberry, dark plum preserve, and sweet black cherry, interwoven with toasted cedar, smoky vanilla, cocoa powder, and peppery baking spices. The palate is full-bodied, supple, and plush, featuring concentrated dark fruit flavors, vibrant natural acidity, and fine, velvety tannins that lead to a long, savory, and lingering oak-spiced finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with smoked brisket, barbecued pork ribs, grilled pepper steaks, braised duck breast, roasted venison, and sharp aged cheddar cheese.
