The Hennessy X.O Cognac is a legendary, exceptionally complex, and prestigious French spirit originally created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for his inner circle of friends. As the world's very first "Extra Old" Cognac, it is a masterfully orchestrated blend of over one hundred distinct eaux-de-vie sourced from the region's finest growing areas, aged for up to thirty years in French Limousin oak barrels. It pours a deep, majestic amber-mahogany colour in the glass, releasing an incredibly intense, layered bouquet of dried figs, prunes, candied orange peel, and warm gingerbread, elegantly intertwined with underlying notes of dark chocolate, leather, cigar box, and peppery oak spice.
