Champagne Hélène Beaugrand Le Rosé Henriette Œil de Perdrix Extra Brut is a refined, expressive, and delicate grower Champagne crafted as a tribute to Hélène Beaugrand's grandmother, who once managed the family estate. Sourced from old-vine plots planted in the 90-million-year-old Turonian chalk and flint soils of Montgueux in the southern Champagne region, this "Œil de Perdrix" (partridge eye) rosé is fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks with full malolactic fermentation and aged on its lees for at least 36 months before disgorgement with a low Extra Brut dosage of 3 g/L. In the glass, it displays a delicate salmon-pink color with pale copper highlights and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose opens with inviting aromas of fresh redcurrant, wild strawberry, white peach, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is crisp, textured, and lively, featuring vibrant red fruit flavors underpinned by chalky minerality, bright acidity, and a long, savory finish.
