Champagne Helene Beaugrand Le Grand Carre Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature

Champagne Hélène Beaugrand Le Grand Carré Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is a precise, mineral-driven, and pure grower Champagne crafted entirely from 100% Chardonnay. Produced by winemaker Hélène Beaugrand in Montgueux—a unique chalky hillside located in the southern Champagne region—this single-parcel bottling comes from "Le Grand Carré," an old-vine plot situated at the base of the slope with 90-million-year-old Turonian limestone and flint soils. Vinified in stainless steel vats to preserve maximum freshness and purity, it undergoes full malolactic fermentation and ages on its lees for a minimum of 26 to 36 months before being disgorged without any added sugar (zero dosage). In the glass, it exhibits a pale straw-yellow hue with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose yields expressive aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white flowers, and toasted bread crust, while the palate is bone-dry, taut, and vibrant with bright citrus, energy, and a long, saline finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with raw oysters, scallop crudo, sushi, sashimi, caviar, poached white fish, and fresh goat cheese.
