About the Les Hauts De Granget Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2018
Les Hauts De Granget Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2018 is a classic and robust Right Bank Bordeaux red wine, crafted from a traditional blend of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%). This wine opens with an inviting and complex bouquet of ripe black cherries, wild blueberries, and dark plums, beautifully laced with nuances of warm cinnamon, cedar, sweet tobacco, and wet gravel. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied with a soft, round mouthfeel and rich, concentrated layers of dark fruits. The Cabernet Franc adds a refreshing streak of acidity and fine-grained, ripe tannins that carry through to a long, structured, and elegant finish accented by a delicate touch of oak.
Food Pairing: Grilled or roasted red meats (such as ribeye steak, lamb chops, or duck breast), mushroom stroganoff, crown roast of pork, and strong, semi-mature cheeses.
