About the Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin 2017
Château Tour du Haut-Moulin 2017 is a traditional and elegant Left Bank red wine crafted in Cussac-Fort-Médoc within the Haut-Médoc appellation. Sourced from gravelly soil terraces, this classic blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby hue with crimson reflections. The bouquet offers aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum, and red cherry, harmoniously accented by subtle notes of tobacco, cedarwood, sweet spices, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, balanced, and structured, delivering concentrated dark berry fruit supported by fine, integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a smooth, savory finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted lamb chops, grilled ribeye steak, braised beef short ribs, roasted duck, wild mushroom dishes, and aged hard cheeses like Comté.
