It pours a deep, dark garnet and opens with an alluring bouquet of wild blueberries, boysenberries, and crushed cassis, intricately accented by elegant notes of espresso bean, violets, tobacco leaf, and warm clove. On the palate, the wine is silky, seamless, and round, delivering full-bodied layers of ripe black cherry, rich cocoa nibs, and savory leather.
