Hartford Court Russian River Pinot Noir 2021 / 2022

From the stunningly beautiful, popular and sought after Russian River Valley appellation, this is a user friendly Pinot Noir, and an increasingly popular alternative to Cabernet and Merlot in trend-setting wine shops. Smooth and supple with excellent body, bright flavors and a long, complex finish. Sexy style with lots of finesse but enough flavor to drink by itself or with indulgent food pairings. An excellent quality Pinot Noir from one of the top wineries in California.

Aromas of black cherry, blueberry, black currant, allspice and loam are followed by flavors of wild raspberries, dark berries and a crushed rock minerality. The dense entry is followed by a sweet and juicy mouth feel, supported by acidity, silky tannins and a subtle earthy finish.

2021 Vintage Ratings:

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2021 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley was matured for nine months in 21% new French oak. It’s scented of rhubarb and blueberry with nuances of orange peel, tea leaves, mushroom and nutmeg. The light-bodied palate is silky and refreshing with crunchy, spicy flavors and a long, floral finish.
2022 Vintage Ratings:

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast

A darker and more savory style of Pinot Noir, this wine shows aromas of shiitake, black cherry and fresh herbs and earth on the nose. The palate gives a streak of raspberry-lemon acidity to balance some grippy tannins and cola spice flavors on the finish.
