Focused, refined, and highly approachable, this bold Pacific Northwest red showcases the unique character of Washington State's premier growing region. The nose opens with expressive aromas of black cherry, dark plum, and currant, layered with subtle undertones of earth, tobacco leaf, and vanilla. On the palate, a generous core of dark fruit and sweet blackberry is beautifully balanced by a hint of mineral complexity, a consequence of unique concrete tank aging. It finishes with incredibly plush, smooth tannins and a lingering accent of rich cocoa and warming spice.
