About the Chateau Lagrange
A historic 3rd Growth Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, Château Lagrange opens with refined aromas of dark cassis, black cherry, graphite, cedarwood, violets, and subtle tobacco leaf. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, elegant, and finely balanced, displaying polished tannins, vibrant cool-climate acidity, and a long, persistent finish marked by pure dark fruit and a gravelly mineral edge.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye steak, roasted rack of lamb, duck breast, braised beef short ribs, or aged hard cheeses.
