About the Chateau Batailley
Château Batailley is a historic and highly respected estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Official Classification, it is renowned for producing quintessential Pauillac wines that balance traditional power and structure with modern refinement. The estate is the flagship property of the Borie-Manoux négociant house and has been owned by the Castéja family since 1924. Its name commemorates a 15th-century battle fought on the grounds during the Hundred Years' War.
