Color: A pale gold or golden yellow color with lemon reflections
Aroma: Notes of almond, white flowers, lime, pear, nectarine, honey, and honeycomb
Taste: Dry, refreshing, and high in acidity, with notes of lime blossom, citrus fruit, tropical fruits, honey, lemon pie, and pronounced minerality
Food pairings: Goes well with foie gras, chicken, creme caramel, vegetarian dishes, and chicken baked with carrots

Vouvray wines can range from having hardly any residual sugar to having almost as much sugar as a can of Coke. The climate in Vouvray, which is a mix of maritime and continental climates, generally has cool weather and sunny autumns, which helps ripen the grapes and produce sweet wine.
