Green Spot Leoville Barton Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Green Spot Château Léoville Barton is a special wine-cask-finished Irish whiskey produced at Midleton Distillery. It begins maturation in ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks before spending an additional 12–24 months in French oak casks previously used for Château Léoville Barton Bordeaux wine.

Food Pairing:Pairs well with roast beef, lamb, aged cheddar, charcuterie, berry desserts and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes:Rich and complex, combining Green Spot’s orchard-fruit character with red berries, French oak, vanilla and pot-still spice.

Nose:Woodland notes, floral aromas, ripe berries, orchard fruits and distinctive pot-still spice.

Palate:Vanilla sweetness, dry orchard fruits, barley, French oak and warming spices with a subtle red-wine influence.

Finish:Long and warming, with French oak gradually fading into lingering wine character and spice.
